“I’m New”
“I’m New” can be an uncomfortable statement for many of us to make. At Freedom Hall, we endeavor to make sure that our new friends, who visit with us, feel like family. We are determined to maintain an environment in which all parishioners feel safe, heard, respected and (most importantly) loved. We encourage you to ask questions, get engaged as much as you want to and even help us serve our community.
Finding the right church can make all the difference for your family, in your day-to-day life and in your experience as a Christian. We hope you’ll call Freedom Hall your home.
What to Expect (FAQ)
Where Should I Park?
First time and returning visitors at Freedom Hall are welcome to utilize our spacious parking lot on Fenimore Street or use any available street parking if preferred.
How Should I Dress?
At Freedom Hall, we believe in putting our best before God. As a result, visitors will see our members dressed in formal attire on worship days. Our men will be dress in suits and our women will be wearing dresses. Making the decision to visit a new church for the first time is monumental enough. For your first visit, just be comfortable yet tasteful.
Where do I sit in the Worship Center?
There are no assigned seats, just sit where you like. At each door, you’ll see greeters who would love the opportunity to guide you toward a comfortable spot. And don’t worry, every seat has a great view with our HD screens that display lyrics to songs, on-screen Bible notes, and our Pastor during his message. No matter where you sit, you’ll have a perfect view with our screens.
What’s the music like?
Many of our members originate from the Caribbean Islands or are first generation Caribbean Americans. Our music embraces our shared Caribbean roots while embracing the contemporary sounds in Gospel today.
How can I get connected?
We have a wide variety of services you can attend, midweek classes, service opportunities and fellowship events! You can also find us on Facebook or Youtube! We are always looking for opportunities to deepen your connection with God and further your growth in faith.
Where should I take my children?
We have several activities for your children to take part in. On Fridays, children and young people of all ages are invited to our YPM services. On Sundays, we provide Sunday School classes for people of all ages as well. If transportation to the church for Sunday School is needed, we provide complimentary pick-up service. Please contact us if such service is needed.
