Our Beliefs

We Believe:

+ Article 1: In the verbal inspiration of the Bible

We believe the Bible is the basis of divine authority. While it was written by fallible men, they were inspired by an infallible God who inspired them to record His truth.

+ Article 2: In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

We believe that scripture teaches of one, an only one, true and living God. We believe that God has elected to express His divine greatness to His people through three persons in the unified Godhead- the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost; equal in every divine perfection and executing distinct, but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption.

+ Article 3: That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead; that He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of the Almighty God and that He elected to enter this world miraclously through the womb of a virgin woman according the divine plan of God. Christ's entrance in to the world was for the expressed purpose to die as a sacrifice for the sins of mankind so we can experience complete fellowship with God through Him. Furthermore, we believe, because of the divine power working in Jesus, that three days after his death by crucifixion, He ressurected from the grave and returned to Heaven to as our risen Savior to live forevermore. We believe, because Jesus lives, we have the power to live as well through His grace and power operating in our lives.

+ Article 4: That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.

We believe the scriptures teach us that man was created in holiness, under the law of his maker; but by voluntary transgressions fell from that holy and happy state. In consequence of which all mankind are now sinners,not by constraint but choice.

+ Article 5: That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.

We believe that faith in Jesus's sacrifice empowers us to live as a new person with respect to our thoughts and deeds.

+ Article 6: In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word and by the Holy Ghost.

We believe after we are "born again" through faith in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice, we are to be sanctified, or cleansed and set aside for a special purpose.

+ Article 7: Holiness to be Gods standard of living for His people.

We believe that our lives as Christians ought to be lived cleanly, free from sin and holy as God commands us to properly maximize our spiritual lives in Christ

+ Article 8: In the baptism of the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.

+ Article 9: In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism if the Holy Ghost.

+ Article 10: In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

+ Article 11: Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.

+ Article 12: In the Lords Supper and washing of the saints feet.

The Lord’s Supper represents the fellowship in the blood and body of Christ. The Lord’s Supper is a commemoration of the Sacrifices of Christ on the cross

+ Article 13: In the premillennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.

As believers, we look towards the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. When he appears, we believe He will raise the saints who have passed on first and then rapture the living Christians from this world. Then our returning Lord will claim the earth as His kingdom for a thousand years.

+ Article 14: In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous and eternal punishment for the wicked.

  • We believe the Bible is God’s Word. We believe the Bible is completely inspired by God, without error, and our final authority for faith and life. The writers were guided by the Holy Spirit so that what they wrote was exactly what God wanted to say.

  • This article expresses in summary the story of salvation through Jesus Christ. Beginning with His preexistence, it traces the major events in the earthly life of Christ—the Incarnation, the Virgin Birth, the Cross, and the Resurrection—and concludes with the glorious climax of His exaltation into heaven where He serves as our intercessor. The story of Jesus’ life, as recorded in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, is God’s plan of salvation. This plan of salvation involves God’s saving activity for us, through which He provides forgiveness from wrongdoings and eternal life.

  • We believe the practice of baptism are an outward display of what has already occurred inwardly by an individuals confession of faith. We subscribe to the practice of full immersion in water, which is a symbol of the death and burial of the individual’s old life of sin. When the individual emerges from the water, it is a symbol of their resurrection as a new creation in Christ. When conducting baptisms, we follow the model presented by Jesus in Matthew 28, baptizing “in the name of Father, Son and Holy Ghost”. We are intentional to
